Everyone in Rioja seems to know Victor from winemakers to the staff of the coolest bar in Logrono. It would be hard to find anyone with less vines and more friends anywhere in the world. He currently ownes 3ha. Parcela 333 is from a single 2ha plot in Clavijo which is at a relatively high altitdue at just about the easternmost point of winemaking in the region. Victors background in vineyard management and an keen instinct that freshness and purity is often overlooked in white from Rioja led him to this plot when it came up for sale. His grandad's garage in town was commissioned into a true micro-winery and his, and his sister Diana's, family were roped in for harvest. Victor is endearingly inquisitive and you can tell that your response each question he asks is deeply noted. The 1158 bottles have already sold out in Spain and we are so happy to have some to show you.

Parcella 333 | 100% Garnacha Blanca from a single plot south of Alberite. The wine is hand worked and pressed in a basket press. Ferment is in Stainless steel with ageing in steel for 10 months on the lees. The wine is fresh, bright and perfectly pixelled. A breezy play of richness and taut acid marks the palate, with a touch of salty twang and long and persistant palate. |
